[Member] November 15, 2010 Share November 15, 2010 Hi all, I was wondered if someone have (or knows where I can get) a high resolution and quality image of this complete alphabet of shaded capital letters ? I would use them for a work, but I could get only different few letters. Many foundries of the year 1900 used to produce them under different names. For e.g. the sample shown above is from Deberny & Peignot and is called ''Lettres ombrées''. The Dutch founders Joh. Enschedé & Sons name them ''Fantaisie Kapitalen, N° 1274 Sabon'' (image below), they are very similar to the French foundry ones. The image above is the biggest I could get and comes from the book ''New Vintage Type'' (which I recommend!) from Gail Anderson and Steven Heller. [Member] March 23, 2011 Author Share March 23, 2011 (edited) Nice one ! Shapes have been made with feather tool instead of a vectorization of the original letters. It will fit for the project. Thanks all Edited April 22, 2011 by stabiloboss
